Fifteen Ole Miss Players will be on the field in Oxford at the 2024 Pro Day on March 27. All will be looking to impress the NFL teams in attendance.

We are over a month away from the NFL draft on April 25. Ole Miss has fifteen players looking to beat the odds to get drafted. The Rebels saw four players drafted in 2023, while at the 2022 draft, they had six.

A high percentage of the 2024 players who chose to declare for the draft are from the defensive side of the ball.

Which Ole Miss Players Have a Chance To Be Drafted?

This may not be the strongest group of Ole Miss players. However, several have chances to have their name called during the draft.

Defensive end Cedric Johnson Jr. looks to have the best chance in having his name called out this year. Johnson Jr., who turned heads at the Senior Bowl on February 1, with his explosive attributes as a pass rusher.

Johnson Jr. will look to put that on show again, with a draft range of anywhere from the 4th to the 7th round.

Two other Ole Miss players with chances of being drafted are a pair of defensive backs. Deantre Prince and Daijahn Anthony have chances of sneaking into the seventh round. Both players have fantastic engines, with ball hawk ability. They would also be assets on special teams.

Who Are The Best of the Potential Undrafted Free Agents?

Wide receiver Dayton Wade is one player to keep an eye on. Wade showcased some highlight reel catches in his time at Ole Miss. In a time when the NFL are in on speedy slot receivers, Wade has qualities that a team may take a chance on as a UDFA.

Wade will be catching passes at the Ole Miss Pro Day from quarterback Spencer Sanders. Sanders, surprisingly transferred from Oklahoma State, saw limited snaps in 2023. However, he has a wealth of college experience, attempting over 1,250 passes at Oklahoma State.
