After four non-conference games, Ole Miss starts SEC play, welcoming Kentucky to Oxford in Week 5. The Rebels sit at 4-0, making light work of their opponents, with a chance to secure a win that will have the media questioning no more.

The Wildcats are 2-2, but that doesn't tell the whole story of their season. This will be their third conference game, and they are 0-2 after losses to South Carolina and Georgia. The loss at home to the Gamecocks was frustrating, as they were dominated by a team they were favored to beat. They did bounce back in Week 3, giving Georgia all they had, eventually going down 13-12.

The Georgia result makes head coach Lane Kiffin aware of what this team can do, so he will likely not take them. Despite the Week 4 win over Ohio, they are still wounded at being 0-2 in conference play, and they will see the chance of beating the unbeaten Ole Miss as a potential turning point for their season.

The Rebels' offense has been electric through the first four games, with Kentucky at a different level of opposition, as the Georgia Bulldogs found out. A win here for Kiffin and Ole Miss would be a big boost before back-to-back road games against South Carolina and LSU.
