It's confirmed that only one team has a better offense than Ole Miss in 2024, according to On3s Jesse Simonton.

Ole Miss squeezed into the latest On3 Offensive unit rankings, with Jesse Simonton having them at No.10, just behind Tennessee. This means the Rebels made the top 10 in every offensive unit, with the wide receiver group ranked the highest.

Most fans may have been surprised by the top 10 ranking after the struggles of the 2023 season. However, the rank is a testament to Lane Kiffin and John Garrison's work bolstering the offensive line via the transfer portal.

At the start of the new year, Ole Miss added two Washington guards, Nate Kalepo and Julius Buelow, from the portal. Both were part of the Washington offensive line that scooped the Joe Moore Award in 2023. They add great size to the line, as does North Carolina transfer tackle Diego Pounds.

The additions are key to the offensive line's ability to compete physically against the best defensive lines in the SEC and potentially make the playoffs

Only Georgia is Ranked Higher in All Offensive Unit Rankings

With Jesse Simonton now releasing all his offensive unit rankings, only Georgia is ranked higher at every offensive position. Oregon was ranked higher in two positions: offensive line and wide receiver. However, their running back unit failed to make it into the top 10.

Using the rankings from Simonton, Ole Miss would have the second-best offense in the nation. Yes, overall rankings are earned at the end of the season, though it's a good indicator of what most Rebel fans believe.
