For those missing college football, I have some news for you that can give you something to look forward to. SEC Media Days are just a few months away and the head coach schedule has been released.
SEC Media Days will run from July 15 through July 18 at the Omni Hotel in downtown Dallas, Texas. This will be the first year the SEC will feature 16 teams with the addition of Oklahoma and Texas. with 16 teams and four media days, four teams will appear each day.
Ole Miss fans will get to hear from Lane Kiffin early in on in the media days as he is set to speak on Monday, July 15. Kiffin will appear with three other coaches, LSU's Brain Kelly, South Carolina's Shane Beamer, and Vanderbilt's Clark Lea.
The SEC Network will provide all-day coverage of the multi-day event and bring college football fans inside coverage with coaches and players. This will be the first and only time all 16 schools will come together and speak on the upcoming season.
A schedule of which players will appear and when they will speak will be released at a later date closer to the start of the event. Multiple players, typically captains and bigger name players will be the ones to appear for each team.
Ole Miss will begin spring ball soon to work towards their annual Grove Bowl spring game set for April 15 at 2 p.m. CT. The Rebels ended their 2023 season on a high note with a win over Penn State in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, finishing the season with an 11-2 record.
