EA Sports announced earlier today that their new college football game would be dropping this Summer. What team rating could Ole Miss Football have when the ratings are announced?

EA Sports released the official teaser for their college football game on social media today. The game is set to be released in Summer, with a full reveal in May.

With Ole Miss Football ranked in the media as a top-ten team in the way-too-early rankings, they will likely have a top-ten rating in the game.

The last time EA Sports produced a college football game was back in 2014, with Ole Miss having a team rating of 90. The Rebels had offensive players such as QB Chad Kelly, OL Laremy Tunsil and TE Evan Engram. On defense, they had DL Robert Nkemdiche and CB Mike Hilton. The offense was rated 91, while the defense was ranked 88.

If the rankings in this year's game follow suit from the 2014 edition, then Ole Miss will be in for a boost. The offense would likely still have a higher rating than the defense. However, combined they could easily have the Rebels ranked around the 95 mark.

Predicting the Ole Miss player rankings could be difficult. Quarterback Jaxson Dart likely would be the highest-ranked player, with defensive linemen Walter Nolen and defensive end Princely Umanmielen in the top three.

Wide receiver Tre Harris could be the player with a surprisingly high rating. Harris has emerged as one of the top receivers in college football since he transferred in 2023. The Rebels could also have some highly ranked offensive linemen in the game, with two transfers coming in from the Joe Moore Award-winning offensive line of 2023.

All the above is guesswork. However, a top-ten-ranked team seems to be likely for Ole Miss when the game releases this summer. Fans are excited for the launch, having waited ten years for a college football video game.
