The 11-year EA College Football game hiatus will end with the latest game's release in July. Could Ole Miss have a featured athlete on the game's front cover?

While the new college football season is still a few months away, the upcoming release of the EA Sports College Football game in July will keep fans entertained until then and throughout the season. As we eagerly await more game features to be announced later this month, there are rumors that we will discover the athletes who will feature on the game's front covers worldwide.

Those rumors suggest that we could see up to three college football athletes on the front covers of the game. Could one of those be an Ole Miss player?

Ole Miss Quarterback Jaxson Dart Seems the Obvious Choice

The Ole Miss player with as good a chance as any would-be quarterback, Jaxson Dart. The California native is entering his third season with the Rebels and is near the top of several ranking categories.

Although a reliable source has not confirmed the rumors, the image looks very slick despite our biased opinion.

Dart has an excellent chance to be the first quarterback selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, especially with a productive 2024 season. He is also seen as a top-5 returning quarterback and is a player with one of the shorter odds to scoop the Heisman Trophy at the end of the 2024 season.

He has the star power to feature on the front cover of the EA Sports College Football game, which is evident in his top-10 NIL value. There are some great options for EA Sports, with Dart near the top of the list.

Which Other Non-Ole Miss Athletes Could Feature for EA?

The number one trending athlete for the front cover of the EA Sports College Football game is two-position athlete Travis Hunter. The Colorado player plays wide receiver and cornerback for the Buffaloes under head coach Deion Sanders. The talented dual-position athlete will be a top pick in next year's NFL draft and one of the more recognized faces from the Big 12 Conference.

Fellow SEC quarterbacks Carson Beck of Georgia, and Jalen Milroe of Alabama will be in the mix. Texas quarterback Arch Manning may have been a player EA could have used. However, he decided not to be featured in the game.

From the Big Ten Conference, Ohio State has ex-Ole Miss running back Quinshon Judkins and a super-star freshman wide receiver, Jeremiah Smith, who could be options. Current college football champions Michigan have lost several players to this past NFL draft cycle. However, they have a talented cornerback in Will Johnson, with EA likely using at least one defensive player on the front cover.
