Ole Miss's schedule has been very different from previous seasons, with another early kickoff time in Week 10.

The SEC has announced the kickoff times for the conference games on November 2. Ole Miss will travel to Fayetteville to take on Arkansas, with the Rebels scheduled for another early start. The game will kick off at either 11:00 a.m. CT or 11:45 a.m. CT and will be aired on ABC, ESPN, or SEC Network.

It will be the third SEC game Ole Miss will play in the early window period. It has already played Kentucky at 11:00 a.m. CT and Saturday's game against Oklahoma, which is set for an early kickoff time.

SEC Killing the tailgate experience for fans

I understand that the SEC needs to schedule the early kickoff times for TV rights, but it seems unfair that Ole Miss has seen three-morning slate kickoff times. Kentucky and Oklahoma will have two home games for the Rebels on Saturday, starting at 11:00 a.m. CT. This kills the tailgate experience at the Grove, something that road team fans enjoy.

Kentucky fans voiced their disapproval early in the season with the kickoff time, not happy with the limited time to hit the tailgate, a big part of college football. Oklahoma's first visit to Oxford this Saturday will again see limited time to soak in the pre-game atmosphere.

Understandably, Ole Miss would see one or two early start times, but three out of five SEC games are steep. The Week 13 game against Florida is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., which means that when the season is out, Ole Miss will have either one or two late window games, depending on how the Georgia game is scheduled.

Ole Miss fans will make the most of the situation, but with several teams having more than three late windows games, it seems the SEC has dealt the Rebels and other SEC teams the short straw.
