The New York Giants look to have a team type, an Ole Miss one. The Giants have added a third Rebel to the team, with Reece McIntyre being picked up as a UDFA. He joins first-round pick Jaxson Dart and another UDFA agent in wide receiver Antwane Wells.
All three played on the offensive together during the 2024 season, while McIntyre and Dart have been together a little longer for the past three seasons. The 319-pound offensive lineman was part of the 2019 recruitment class and protected Dart on his arrival in 2022, transferring from USC.

The Georgia native played mainly center, forming a partnership with Dart with him snapping the ball. He also played numerous snaps at guard, so he is versatile. He took a massive step in 2024, becoming a full-time starter and playing all 13 games for the Rebels. he played over 900 snaps in 2024, some on special teams.
The six-year college player can compete for a roster position, possibly on the practice squad. His experience in college may be a factor, with the Giants having less competitive backup options.
He becomes the second Ole Miss UDFA the Giants have picked up, adding wide receiver Antwane Wells. Nicknamed 'Juice,' the wide receiver finished with 28 receptions for 553 yards and six touchdowns. It was seen as a down year, but coming off a year with South Carolina, where he appeared in just two games, it was a decent return.
He will face a task making it onto the 55-man roster, but if he can find his early career form, he has a big chance. There should be room on the practice squad with the Giants wide receiver room, not the deepest in talent. Ole Miss fans will check in through training camp to see how the three Rebs are getting on.
