Ole Miss head football coach Pete Golding has done an applaud-worthy job in the 2026 transfer portal cycle.
The No. 2 transfer portal class nationally, as ranked by 247 Sports, has brought in 28 commits so far, amid the near-history Lane Kiffin drama and two ongoing legal dramas.
Golding might have lost some of his best players from his 2025 roster to the transfer portal, but the Rebels head coach has brought in equally good players to the Sip, too.

All the players, plus a completely new staff, could translate to a mighty challenge for Golding.
However, their historic CFP run only shows how well the new Ole Miss head coach deals with challenges.
The Rebel nation can only hope that the new squad lives up to the expectations, possibly under the leadership of Trinidad Chambliss.
