Ole Miss football QB Trinidad Chambliss might be in for a massive financial boost if he loses the lawsuit against the NCAA.
The impending verdict on Chabmliss's additional year of eligibility is the ultimate hold up in predicting the Top 10 QBs and the first-round Draft lineup entering the offseason.
Should the verdict go sideways for the QB, he would still be in a massive win in the 2026 NFL Draft.

ESPN's Mel Keiper released his Top 10 QBs for the season, and given the level of elite talent Chambliss had displayed this season, he was ranked No. 3.
As the 3rd best QB in the mix, Chambliss could be easily looking at a first-round pick.
Since the Heisman winner Fernando Mendoza is almost locked up with the Raiders at No. 1, the remaining teams in need for a QB will be chomping at the bit to get him.
Not only has Chambliss put up some of the best numbers as a dual-threat, he has shown that he knows how to win games. GMs and scouts are enamored by that.
Not to mention, he has one of the hottest zero-to-60 storyline in modern day college football. Whichever fandoms he ends up in will love that.
As far as benefits for Chambliss go, a first-round draft pick will have Chambliss milking the cash cow.
"NFL rookies drafted in the first round receive four-year deals with guarantees usually exceeding $16 million total," The Athletic's Ralph D. Russo wrote.
"Players selected outside the first round also receive four-year deals of up to $13 million for high second-round draft picks, but guaranteed money is usually far less. Rookie salaries for players selected in the second round or later start at around $2.3 million," he continued.
While Ole Miss has guaranteed Chambliss about $5 million if he were to stay for another year, the NFL could promise him a much more lucrative offer.
In this case, a loss would still be a massive win.
