Ole Miss had the most players drafted in the second round era this year, with eight drafted in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Rebels were behind only Ohio State (14), Georgia (13), Texas (12), and Oregon (10) in the total number of players drafted.
Despite that, Ole Miss still had several players who did not hear their names called. However, most of them still have a chance of making an NFL roster as they found homes as UDFA (Undrafted Free Agents).
Here is the list of players and their destinations:
OL Gerquan Scott - Buffalo Bills
TE Caden Prieskorn - Detroit Lions
RB Ulysses Bentley IV - Indianapolis Colts
S Trey Washington - Indianapolis Colts
S John Saunders Jr. - Miami Dolphins
WR Antwane Wells - New York Giants
K Caden Davis - New York Jets
S Isaiah Hamilton - Seattle Seahawks
DL Jared Ivey - Seattle Seahawks
OL Nate Kalepo - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The stand-out name is wide receiver Antwane Wells, joining his quarterback from 2024 Jaxson Dart in the Big Apple. After transferring from South Carolina before last season, Wells finished with 553 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
Jared Ivey was one of the late ones to make the team, as reported by Matt Zenitz. The 6-foot-6, 285-pounder was a three-year starter at Ole Miss and a two-time All-SEC selection. They posted 126 tackles, 26.5 tackles for loss, and 16 sacks in the last three years. He is one of two Rebels players heading to Seattle, with safety Isaiah Hamilton being added as UDFA.
Indianapolis Colts got two Former Ole Miss players in running back Ulysses Bentley IV and Trey Washington. Bentley had a tough 2024, not seeing much of the field, but he showed his abilities in 2023 alongside Qionshon Judkins before he transferred to Ohio State.
Despite not being drafted, the players can make the 55-man rosters or the practice squad. We have seen several players go undrafted and have a promising career.
