Ole Miss players had a good opening two days in the draft, with five players going in the first two days of the 2025 NFL Draft. After Walter Nolen and Jaxson Dart went in the first round, Tre Harris, Trey Amos, and Princely Umanmielen went on day 2.

Several players were hopeful of hearing their name in the final four rounds on Saturday, but did any more Rebels players find a home? They did, and here is when they were selected.

Round 4, Pick 138 - San Francisco 49ers - Jordan Watkins, Wide Receiver

Ole Miss saw a second wide receiver selected in the draft, with Jordan Watkins heading to San Francisco in round 4. Tre Harris and Watkins formed a formidable double team in 2023 but did not see the field together as much in 2024 due to injuries. The standout moment last season was scoring five touchdowns in one game against Arkansas, a program record, while also setting a record in receiving yards with 254. He has a good chance of making the roster with the 49ers.

Round 5, Pick 172- Los Angeles Rams - Chris Paul Jr., Linebacker

Los Angeles Rams picked up linebacker Chris Paul Jr., the second Ole Miss player, to head to the NFC West and the second in LA, with Tre Harris going to the Chargers. Paul transferred to the Rebels for the 2024 season and showed his qualities after a slow start. He was a major part of Ole Miss having a top run defense, getting down to the line quickly and hitting the ball carrier.

Round 6, Pick 180- Las Vegas Raiders - JJ Pegues, Defensive Tackle

Not long after Oaul Jr. was selected, another Ole Miss player went to the west, to Las Vegas, to select defensive tackle JJ Pegues. Not only is Pegues a top defensive lineman who stops the run, but he also has offensive qualities. The big man had seven touchdowns last season, rushing the ball, so don't be surprised if he makes the roster with that in mind.
