There are some players so multi-talented that one position doesn’t fully describe their ability. Some players can line up at receiver, running back and return kicks and do it so effortlessly. We want to recognize those players. Oh, yeah and we have to have some guys that can kick the ball, too. So they are on here as well.

Athletes

First Team:

Dexter McCluster

You can’t mention the name Dexter McCluster to a true Ole Miss fan with a smile coming to their face. And I can just about guarantee they’re thinking about the 282 rushing yards he put up on University of Tennessee. He wasn’t just a threat in the backfield. Although he had 1,955 career rushing yards, he also 1,703 career receiving yards. He was also used in punt return and kickoff return. He is second in Ole Miss history in all-purpose yards only to Deuce McAllister.

Second Team:

Marshay Green

Punters and Kickers

First Team:

Jonathan Nichols (kicker)

Nichols is Ole Miss’ all-time leading scorer. His 344 points at the time of end of his college career ranked him sixth in the SEC. Plus, the guy was Mr. Automatic he finished his career 117 consecutive PATs. Not too shabby.

Second  Team:

Cody Ridgeway (punter)
