More Offensive Plays

This is two-part thing here. First, when you consider Ole Miss had 81 offensive plays in the Auburn game, it’s difficult to imagine them being able to have even more in the Vandy game.

However, when the offense is moving at a super-fast tempo they can accumulate more plays. The more plays we run the more we control the speed of the game.

Last week against Auburn it appeared coach Phil Longo put a few more plays into the game plan which is great. So the second part of this is seeing more new offensive wrinkles in each phase of the offense.

The bigger the playbook the more you keep the defense guessing. I don’t have much faith in the simplification process.
