Ole Miss Football: Grading Out The Ole Miss/Kentucky Game
Special Teams
We’ll keep this short and sweet. Special teams for Ole Miss has been solid under coach Bradley Dale Peveto. This special teams group has played remarkably well since Gary Wunderlich returned healthy and has been kicking well. Of course, Wunderlich was money in Lexington and was 3 for 3 on FGs in the game. Wunderlich kicked FGs from 33, 38 and 49 yards against the Wildcats.
Will Gleeson 3 punts in the game for 133 yards with a long of 49. Gleeson had one downed inside the 20. Luke Logan once again handled kickoffs with 8 kicks for 490 yards but only one touch-back. In the return game AJ Brown handled punt return duties while Jaylon Jones continues to handle kickoff returns. I still believe we see Jones breakout for a long TD return on kickoff at some point this season. For their efforts they once again grade out well.
