Ole Miss Football: Ole Miss Recruiting Gets Atlanta OT Commitment

Ole Miss football recruiting picked up another commitment today from a top offensive tackle as a result of the his official Ole Miss visit this past weekend.

Ole Miss football has been on a roll. With the success of the Early Signing Period on December 20th we’ve seen recruiting pick up in recent weeks. Because of the weekends just before NSD being official visit weekends we’ve seen the Rebels recruiting stock rise.

Official visits are important when we are in the final weeks before National Signing Day. Once again in as many days Ole Miss picked up their second commitment from a player who was on campus this past weekend. Early Monday Hamilton Hall of Atlanta announced his official decision to commit to Ole Miss.

This is a big commitment for Ole Miss football recruiting and the Ole Miss offensive line. With the intense focus placed on recruiting for the defense it’s no surprise Hamilton Hall is the first offensive lineman on the commitment list. Seeing coach Matt Luke add a big OT to this class is good news for the offense. Naturally, let’s look at Hamilton Hall.

Ole Miss Rebels Football

Out of Chamblee Charter High School in Atlanta, Georgia OT Hamilton Hall is a true beast. At 6’5″ and 325 lbs Hall has the size to be a productive part of the offensive line rotation for the Rebels. Rated a 3-star by Rivals, Hall has a rivals-rank of 5.6.

You can watch his highlights and see he has extremely good mechanics and uses his feet well. He is a vicious blocker and stays with the block thru the end of the play. Hall plays hard every play and doesn’t take plays off. Of course, he is a solid offensive tackle and could be really good at the next level.

Hall is scheduled for an official visit to Nebraska this coming weekend. There is no word on Hall cancelling his visit since he committed to the Rebels earlier today. Hall was also being recruited by Louisville, Ohio State and Miss State.

Hall Is A Good Get

Hamilton Hall is a good get for Ole Miss and will help to close out a strong class for coach Matt Luke and his staff. Hall wants to be a part of Ole Miss football and he also wants to be part of the Ole Miss family. Reports are Hall didn’t want to leave the Ole Miss campus after his visit. Of course, Hall is the kind of player we need and want in Oxford.

The job which coach Matt Luke and this staff have done continues to amaze Ole Miss football fans. Of course, we can expect even more good news from the Ole Miss recruiting front as we continue closer to NSD.
