No.4 Ole Miss baseball was back in action Saturday as they were facing Alabama and going for the SEC West Division title.

No.4 Ole Miss baseball was coming off a game-two loss to Bama and was looking for some help as they went for the SEC West title. The Rebels needed a win at Bama and some help from UGA to secure the SEC West. Of course, rubber games are never fun and especially on the road so the Rebels were under pressure to secure the series.

Ole Miss jumped out front early with 2 runs in the top of the 1st to take the 2-0 lead. The Tide answered with runs in the bottom of the 1st and 2nd to tie the game at 2-2. The Rebels exploded with 4 runs in the top of the 3rd to retake the lead at 6-2. However, the Tide answered with 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd to cut the lead to 6-4 Rebels.

The Rebels held onto the 6-4 lead thru the 5th inning and then added a run in the top of the 6th to extend the lead to 7-4. Alabama added 2 runs in the bottom of the inning to once again cut into the lead at 7-6. The Rebels added 3 runs in the top of the 8th to push the lead to 10-6. The Tide attempted a rally in the bottom of the 8th with 2 runs to cut the lead to 10-8. Ole Miss shut down the Tide in the 9th and took the 10-8 win.
