Ole Miss baseball may be over but the postseason accolades keep coming in. Just ask Parker Caracci as he gets more All-American honors.

After a tremendous season for Ole Miss baseball has ended there are still the postseason fireworks and the accolades. None has been greater than the MLB draft picks and the postseason honors which have rolled in. Parker Caracci is carrying away more postseason honors as he has now been named to four different All-American teams.

Monday Caracci was named to the second team USA Collegiate Baseball Team on Monday and now has two more honors which rolled out Wednesday. Caracci picked up All-American honors from both Perfect Game and D1 Baseball. The Ole Miss closer was also drafted in the 37th round of the 2018 MLB Draft by the Toronto Bluejays.

A Look At His Season

More from Ole Miss Baseball

To say Parker Caracci was key to the success of Ole Miss baseball in 2018 is an understatement. As the primary closer for the Rebels Caracci was always outstanding on the hill. The Jackson Prep standout was clutch in 2018 on the mound for coach Mike Bianco and the Rebels.

It appears Caracci will be back in Oxford next season despite being drafted. Earlier this week Caracci announced he would forgo the draft selection and return to the Rebels in hope of improving on the 2018 season. This is great news for Ole Miss baseball fans because of how important Caracci was this season.

On the season the red-shirt sophomore right-hander made 27 appearances and went for 48.0 innings of work. Caracci posted a 5-2 record while recording 10 saves and an amazing 73 strikeouts against 127 batters and allowing only 14 walks.

"Eight of his 10 saves, came with the go-ahead run on base or at the plate. Eight of his saves came with the tying run on base, including seven with the tying run in scoring position. ~OleMissSports.com"
