The NWO Is Really Good

Naturally this comes as no surprise to us Ole Miss football fans. We have been expecting the NWO to come out hitting on all cylinders and in Saturdays game they did. The NWO has a great set of starting receivers in juniors All-American AJ Brown and DK Metcalf and senior DaMarkus Lodge with some great support receivers. Of course, Saturday we watched as the Rebels trio of starters pulled in 17 receptions for 270 yards and 2 TDs. We also watched sophomore Braylon Sanders finish with 4 receptions for 60 yards.

The Longo offense is a very potent because of the talented weapons Jordan Ta’amu has at his disposal. Saturday his receivers proved they can be deadly in the open field. We watched the Ta’amu and the NWO dissect a very good Red Raiders secondary. Because of the protection Ta’amu had in the pocket he was able to make his reads and find his best open target and there were open NWO receivers the entire game. AJ Brown creates a huge threat for opposing secondaries not just as a receiver but also as a distraction. Saturday he was a huge part of the other Rebels receivers success.
