Ole Miss Football: Matt Luke and Rebels Get 2019 WR Commitment
As Ole Miss football is heading towards a week-three SEC opener against No.1 Alabama there is good news coming from the 2019 Ole Miss recruiting class.
While most Ole Miss football have their minds on the Rebels matchup this weekend against No.1 Alabama there is other football related news. Thursday coach Matt Luke and the Rebels picked up another commitment for the 2019 recruiting class. Jadon Jackson out of Bentonville West in Centerton, Arkansas gave his verbal to play for the Rebels.
Coach Matt Luke and his staff have done an excellent job recruiting for the future for Ole Miss football and it has already shown in 2018. With Jackson’s commitment the 2019 Ole Miss recruiting class now sits at 27 commits which gives them the No.17 class in the nation and the No.8 class in the SEC. Of the 27 commitments there are 17 offensive players in the 2019 class which tells us the need for talented offensive replacements after this season.
Also Coach Jacob Peeler has done an outstanding job with the receivers in the 2019 class which is good news for the NWO who will likely lose 5 WRs this season due to graduation and the NFL draft. The incoming WR group will certainly provide needed talent and depth in 2019 and the 2019 WRs group get even better with Jackon’ s commit which makes him the 5th WR in the 2019 class.

Jadon Jackson is listed at 6’1.5 and 180 lbs and is rated as a 3-star by 247Sports and Rivals. Jackson is very fast, 4.4 speed fast, runs great routes, plays the ball well and has great hands. Jackson also blocks well downfield. You can watch his highlights here and see him for yourself. Jackson is solid as a receiver and could easily be seen as another threat on the field for the Rebels as part of the NWO.
Jackson has been highly recruited by some of the top schools in the nation which include Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, Memphis, Oklahoma State, Arizona State and Washington State. Although Ole Miss was not on his list of schools in the beginning all it took was one visit to Oxford and the Ole Miss campus and his mind was made up. Of course we are happy Jadon chose Ole Miss.
