While Ole Miss football fans were still celebrating Saturdays win over Kent State there were NFL Rebels back in action in week-three of the 2018 NFL season.

As much as we love Ole Miss football, as Rebels fans we also love seeing former Ole Miss players having success at the next level. With 25 former Rebels on active rosters we have quite a few NFL Rebels to keep an eye on. Week-three of the 2018 NFL season proved to be a good one for a few Rebels who saw some playing time and helped get their teams big wins.

So far the season has had a few major surprises. Former Rebels and current Colts rookie running back Jordan Wilkins made his first career start in week-one and has been productive. Former Rebels DE/DT Breeland Speaks is now with the Chiefs and while it is no big surprise he is seeing playing time the fact Andy Reid is playing Speaks at OLB is.

Also seeing playing time is former Rebels DE Marquis Haynes who is now with the Panthers. So far the Rebels rookies are off to a good start in their NFL careers. Naturally there are some other young  NFL Rebels we’ve been following. We have watched and waited for former Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly to get a shot in the regular season after he had a sensational preseason.

Then of course there are the more experienced veteran NFL Rebels who we’ve been seeing in action for a few years or longer. Whether they have been in the league 14 years or if its their rookie season we want to see our NFL Rebels do well and OHT is here to give the latest news and updates on each of them who see playing time.
