Ole Miss Football: NFL Rebels Updates For Week-4
Ole Miss football may have been coming off a horrid loss to LSU on Saturday night but there were NFL Rebels making plays thru the weekend.
Ole Miss football may have been coming off a terrible 45-16 loss to No.5 LSU Saturday night but there were NFL Rebels making noise thru week-5 of the 2018 NFL season. Naturally we love to see former Rebels have success at the next level and with 25 former Rebels on active NFL rosters you can expect some to have big weekends.
Week-5 of the 2018 NFL season was no different for the NFL Rebels as several were responsible for big games. Naturally Ole Hotty Toddy has been following our former Ole Miss players and watching to see them succeed at the next level. A number of NFL Rebels were in action this past weekend.

Former Ole Miss quarterback Eli Manning went 31 of 41 for 255 yards and 1 TD in the Giants 33-18 loss to the Saints. In related news former Ole Miss tight-end Evan Engram is out for 2 to 4 weeks with a sprained MCL of his right knee. Of course, we wish Evan a speedy recovery and hope to see back in action soon.
Former Rebels wide receiver Donte Moncrief had 5 receptions for 109 yards and 1 TD in the Jaguars 31-12 win over the Jets. Another former Ole Miss wide receiver Laquon Treadwell had 4 receptions for 47 yards in the Vikings 31-28 loss to the Rams.
Former Ole Miss defensive lineman Robert Nkemdiche had 4 tackles in the Cardinals 20-17 loss to the Seahawks. Steelers and former Ole Miss corner-back Mike Hilton was listed as doubtful for the 48-14 loss to the Ravens.

Former Ole Miss defensive tackle Fadol Brown had 1 tackle in the Raiders 45-42 win over the Browns. 49ers and former Rebels defensive tackle DJ Jones had 1 tackle in the 29-27 loss to the Chargers. Former Rebels running-back Jordan Wilkins made the start for the Colts in the 37-34 loss to the Texans. Wilkins had 8 carries for 16 yards.
