Spring practice is in full swing for Ole Miss football and Rebels fans have their eyes on a new defensive coordinator and a new defense.

Spring practice is underway in Oxford and while we don’t know much coming out of Oxford we are excited to see what happens on the defensive side of the ball. During the offseason we watched as head coach Matt Luke added a number of new coaches to his staff and one of the biggest was the addition of defensive coordinator Mike MacIntyre.

Over the past few seasons we’ve seen the decline of the Ole Miss defense which was one of the worst in the nation in 2018. Ole Miss football fans were ready for a change and now with the addition of Mike MacIntyre we are expecting things to be much better on the defensive side of the ball. OHT takes a look at the defense in spring practice.
