This week has seen a flurry of players declare they will be entering the transfer portal when it opens on Dec.4. Yesterday, Ole Miss kicker Caden Costa followed several Rebels this week, declaring their intention to hit the transfer portal.
It’s that time of the season in college football when Conference Championships are won, bowl games are announced, and the transfer portal goes crazy.
Ole Miss Kicker Caden Costa posted on X that he would be entering the transfer portal. He thanked the Oxford community and the Rebel fans during his three seasons with the team.

Caden Costa won the starter’s job in his first season with the Rebels. However, he couldn’t tie down a regular starter job. Costa now has two years of eligibility remaining.
Following Caden Costa into the transfer portal yesterday was tight end Kyirin Heath. Heath also has two years of eligibility remaining.
After much thought with family ,also close ones . I will not be entering the transfer portal and will be remaining an Ole Miss Rebel . The opportunity is sky high and I’m looking forward to continuing my career here and continue building what we are building here .Hotty Toddy!!💫 pic.twitter.com/6WTtdDiIRW

It’s not just been a week of departures for Ole Miss. Lane Kiffin and the team have been working hard on getting players into Oxford.
This weekend, Southern Miss offensive lineman Gerquan Scott will be visiting Oxford. Also, Kiffin is working hard to sign top offensive tackle transfer Carter Smith. Smith has been a highly sought-after player since announcing he would departing from the Indiana Hoosiers.
Expect more ins and outs from the Rebels as we roll into December.
