Ole Miss Football: Caden Prieskorn is running it back in 2024
It’s been a week full of positive news for Ole Miss Football. We’ve seen a handful of top commits from the transfer portal. On top of that, wide receiver Jordan Watkins signed back up for one last season. Yesterday, tight end Caden Prieskorn followed Watkins in returning to Ole Miss for his final season.
There is already a feeling in the air that something special is brewing down in Oxford. After another excellent regular season under Kiffin, they could make it their best with a win over Penn State in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on Dec.30.
However, Lane Kiffin and his staff are working hard to take steps to make the 2024 season even better for the Rebels.
Tight end Caden Prieskorn was a big part of the Ole Miss offense last season. He announced on his socials yesterday he was heading back to Oxford for one more season.
Prieskorn missed the first three games of the 2023 season with an injury. Once he was on the field, the Memphis transfer was a game-changer for the Rebels. As a receiver, he caught 20 passes for 313 yards and two touchdowns. Prieskorn was also an important blocker, helping a struggling offensive line. Jaxson Dart was very thankful for the big tight end, with him being a reliable option in key 3rd down situations.
Prieskorn joins another reliable player from last season’s offense, with Jordan Watkins also heading back to Oxford for his final season.
With Kiffin already utilizing the transfer portal to make both sides of the ball better for next season, getting Prieskorn and Watkins back is just as good as any portal commit.
We will very likely see more incomings for the Rebels, with big names already mentioned rom the transfer portal. There is a special feeling in the air at Ole Miss and it feels good.
