The AP Poll released its Week 7 rankings following an upset-filled Week 6 of college football Sunday afternoon.

Ole Miss football, one of the few teams that had their bye weeks in Week 6, remained steady in their previous week's position at No. 4.

That should translate to major praise for the Rebels as their 5-0 score held their No. 4 position without any wins this week, despite other teams like Alabama and Florida pulling off major upsets.

Ole Miss not dropping from their previous rankings speaks for their predicted potential this season. The Rebels are projected as one of the best, and most formidable teams in the SEC currently.

Their remaining slate has Washington State, Georgia, Oklahoma, Citadel, Florida, and Mississippi State. The only concerning games are Georgia and Oklahoma, unless Florida pulls another massive upset over Ole Miss.

If Coach Lane Kiffin manages through all or even three of these games, they will most likely continue their ranking as a top 5 team, even when entering the college football playoff.
