The Grove knew what it was preparing for when Ole Miss Athletics announced their Selection Sunday watch party.

Yet, the electric celebrations exceeded what Ole Miss women's basketball had anticipated when the ESPN broadcasters declared Ole Miss as the No. 5 seed in the Sacramento 2 region.

Coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin's entire squad shot out of their chairs, bouncing up in celebration as the bracket reveal on March 15 officially cemented their fifth-straight trip to the Big Dance.

The party is on in Oxford

The sheer joy was palpable as the team hollered on the top of their lungs, while the fans in the back filled the room with red and blue flags, marking the beginning of another iconic March Madness run.

The student section didn't disappoint either as the cheerleaders and other students made sure Coach Yo and her squad feels celebrated.

Being herself, Coach Yo was seen smiling at the announcement, as everyone cheered on.

Cotie McMahon, Sira Thienou, Christeen Iwuala, Jayla Murray, and Denim DeShields were photographed hyping everyone in attendance and their teammates to the feat they just unlocked.

After falling to Texas in an 85-68 SEC semifinal loss, Ole Miss's team deserved every bit of applause they got on Sunday night.

The SEC Tournament was starting to look like a gauntlet for the Rebs after they finished their season on a 4-game skid.

However, with the back-to-back performances in Greenville, Ole Miss showed they were finding their footing. After getting some rest in between, the Rebels look incredibly promising to navigate their way to the Big Dance.

Their first stop is Minneapolis as they take on No. 15 seed Gonzaga in the first round.
