The NFL draft experts have apparently not learned their lesson yet. After sleeping on De'Zhaun Stribling all along, the "experts" sounded shocked when the Niners picked him off the board first thing on Round 2.

Now, they're setting themselves up for an even bigger embarrassment with their 2027 NFL mock drafts, and it's getting laughable at this point.

Trinidad Chambliss No. 15 in 2027 mock drafts

Why? Because they believe the NFL teams will overlook a 4500-yard CFP-level product for their Top 10, or even Top 15 picks for some bench-warmers who are still living off their high school highlight tapes and haven't even earned a starting job yet.

CBS Sports' Brad Crawford slated Chambliss as No. 15 overall, for a QB that NFL would rather have first off the board.

"After he was granted a rare sixth year of eligibility, Chambliss hopes to convince at least one NFL franchise he's worthy of first-round billing during his final campaign with the Rebels after leading the SEC in passing yards with 3,937 yards last season. He threw for 22 touchdowns, rushed for eight more and led Ole Miss to the school's first College Football Playoff appearance. By the time he suits up in the NFL preseason next summer, however, Chambliss will be approaching his 25th birthday," Crawford writes.

Arch Manning is the QB that goes No. 1. Just purely statistically speaking, there's no reason why QB-needy teams should see Manning as a superior pick than Chambliss.

Although most mock drafts agree on Manning being the No. 1 pick already. We'll see whether that's a recipie for disaster they're all cooking.
