Trinidad Chambliss went from a hardly-ever-heard-before name to a household name, all in 4 months of the regular season. "Rollercoaster" would be the word close enough to describe the astronomical season of the Rebels.

(Un)Surprisingly, it was also the first word that came to his mind, summarizing his 2025 season with ESPN's Marty Smith.

Trinidad Chambliss' summary of 2025 season is pretty much what everyone feels

"I would say a rollercoaster for sure. That whole year be transferring, having the year that I had, and then losing the semifinal to Miami, that was a bummer. After the season, having to deal with all the court stuff. It's just a lot. My parents and people support me, they worry about my future, were worried about where I was going to be this year. I'm glad I can focus on just football now."

Right from taking over Austin Simmons as QB1 to being an instant fan-favorite, leading the team to the semifinals in his first year as SEC QB, and a whole lot of headache and legal drama awaiting him post-season for eligibility, and coming out on top of all of it makes up for a potentially cinematic biopic-worthy collegiate career.

"I would be lying if I said I wans't nervous," Chambliss added about that particular night against Kentucky when he finally got to play a snap as a Rebel.

"I mean, I've never played in front of that many people," he confessed.

For a QB that was about to send shockwaves through entire college football in his upcoming games and cement himself as the top SEC QB by the end of it, Chambliss admitted to forgetting the play-call out of nervousness against Kentucky that night.

"The funny thing is I actually forgot the play-call in the huddle and Deuce Alexander, like the receiver, had to say to play. That was kind of a welcome to college football. At SEC< the lights are bright. I blacked out a little bit."

Pretty normal for a DII players stepping in the middle of a regular season game. His passing scoreboard was a flatline that night, but from then on, it was one that will easily turn any college QB green with envy, or leave them truly inspired.
