Ole Miss Rebels fell against Florida in a 74-67 game that they were supposed to have it in their vault.

The Rebels were ranked No. 19 in the AP Poll, whereas the Gators went unranked. It was supposed to be their easy win after two consecutive losses against higher-ranked SEC foes in LSU and South Carolina.

Instead, they let a 7-point lead evaporate altogether after just one of their players went down due to an injury.

Almost as if the Rebs had given up before the clock ran out. The wheels coming off following Latasha Lattimore's injury was "evident", as Coach Yo said, but the loss said so much more about the Rebels; and it was not good.

Yolett McPhee-McCuin 'disappointed' in team's performance

Women's basketball coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin has never shied away from calling a spade a spade, and that's exactly what she did when adressing Wednesday night's embarrassing loss.

"As far as my team is concerned, I was just really disappointed in our presence. I didn't feel like we showed up ready to compete," Coach Yo said in her post-game press conference.

"Right now, this is the time of the year where teams should be desperate to win, and I just didn't feel that desperation for my team. So that's something that I will have to look at and figure out how to correct defensively. We did just an awful job," she added.

It was the second-to-last game of their regular season this year, and we'll see whether their rankings take a hit because of losing it.

All that McPhee-McCuin has left to fix her squad is their final game against Texas A&M at home this Sunday.
