The Ole Miss women's basketball team didn't have the best week, to put it mildly.
A nightmarish slump that ended up dismantling their entire blueprint would be another way to put it.
Now, you would hardly expect them to win against the No.1 SEC team. But a lopsided 37-point loss was as disheartening as it could get.
That was still the part that most of the Rebel Nation was prepared for, though. The one against Kentucky, which was supposed to be in their pockets, and the LSU were more of the brutal heavy hitters.
Although quite a stretch, the effects of falling thrice against SEC opponents in seven days rightfully skewed the Rebels in the latest AP Poll rankings.
With just a week and two games to go before the March Madness officially kicks in, the Rebels did not open how they would like to in the latest AP women's basketball Top 25.
Falling 2 spots from their previous week's No. 17, the voters had Ole Miss at No. 19.

This is not the only list where you can clearly see Coach Yo's squad stumbling right near the finish line. The NCAA's early Top 16 seeds reflected it too.
The Rebs barely made it in at No. 15 in the early bracket. Another loss and they will be out there in the bubble, looking in.
The margin of error is zero as they prepare for Gainesville.
