College Football Playoff Rankings Show: How to watch the third round of the CFP rankings
Today will be the third time the CFP committee has gathered in 2024 to rank the top 25 teams in the country. The top 111 teams and the highest-ranked Group of 5 teams will be in the playoff spots.
Week 12 had a few results that will change the top 25, with losses for LSU, Missouri, and Kansas State likely dumping them out. Tennessee's loss to Georgia saw them clinging on to a top-ten spot in the AP Poll. However, BYU was not so lucky, tumbling down the rankings after losing at home to Kansas. Will the CFP committee follow suit?
After tonight, there are still three more rankings, the final one deciding who will make the first 12-team College Football Playoffs.

Ole Miss College Football Playoff Rankings outlook
Ole Miss did not play in Week 12, having their final bye week. The CFP committee had Ole Miss ranked No. 11 last week, ahead of Georgia. The AP Poll put the Bulldogs back in front of the Rebels, with Tennessee dropping below them.
The question is how they will rank Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Tennessee, all two-loss SEC teams that have one win over each other. Arguably, the Rebels had the most convincing one, 28-10 over Georgia.
Georgia has yet to lose to an unranked team, however. They lost to Alabama and Ole Miss and held a win over No. 3 ranked Texas. Tennessee has beaten Alabama but has no other ranked wins, while the Rebels and Bama have both beaten ranked South Carolina. Sort that mess out.
Tennessee is likely ranked bottom of the four, but with the AP Poll having Alabama and Georgia above Ole Miss, it's unclear how the committee ranks the other three. One thing is for sure: They will all likely be in the top 12.
