The recruiting battle for David Gabriel Georges has reached a fever pitch, and Ole Miss is officially in the final four.
The Rebels have been chasing Gabriel Georges for months, and they have some serious connections to lure him straight to the Sip.
However, the other three schools, Tennessee, Ohio State, and Georgia, are also pulling every trick and contact up their sleeve to make sure the Baylor RB picks them.
The Vols are the clear frontrunners in the recruiting battle, and Gabriel George's recent statement on Josh Heupel should have the alarm blaring in Ole Miss's staff to start preparing for their last-ditch efforts.
David Gabriel Gerorges might be leaing towards Tennessee
“They were one of the first to recruit me,” Gabriel Georges said of the Vols, per A To Z Sports.
“That showed me a lot. They have been so consistent with me. They call, they text, and they FaceTime me a lot. It is Coach Sims, and Coach Heupel. I like how Coach Heupel is involved. That means a lot to me. I know the staff at Tennessee really well.”
George Gabriel's decision is a toss up at this point, and it might come soon. Each school in contention will be seriously hoping he takes their name.
If Gabriel Georges ends up committing to Ole Miss, Golding gets a No. 2 running back in the nation and the No. 10 overall player in the 2027 recruiting class. That's a can't-miss prospect.
The Baylor RB is set to visit Tennessee on June 5, just a week after Ohio State. His visit to Ole Miss is scheduled post-Tennessee visit. Golding and his staff can only wish he wouldn't announce his commitment to Tennessee right away before his visit to Oxford.
Ole Miss have been on a recruiting roll lately, and they would like to seeing that continue with Gabriel Georges.
