As the upcoming hosts of Ole Miss Rebels, Georgia Bulldogs could give Lane Kiffin's squad exactly what they need on Saturday: tip the scales in their favor to be the next SEC champions and a higher seeding in college football playoff rankings.
The way Rebels could get that is by winning against the Dwags as the severe underdogs.
Ole Miss has managed to avoid any possible losses and kept their undefeated 6-0 Rebels untouchable. But Georgia marks the beginning of what will be the most grueling stretch for Ole Miss in this season, as they take on Oklahoma next, followed by South Carolina and Florida, who had the wildest upset win over the Rebels last season.
Even as the 7.5 points underdogs, Kiffin's squad holds the talent to flip the script in their favor. If anything, their last week's upset scare over Washington State was the wakeup call they needed.

Earning a victory over an opponent like Georgia will give Ole Miss a really good advantage in the final college football playoff rankings. Georgia's strentgth of schedule is undeniably one of the toughest in the SEC, and them being the winnigest team in the conference just makes a win against them more valuable.
Plus, it further cements the Rebels' as a serious SEC championship contender in 2025.
"There is plenty of noise out there that means nothing, and plenty of teams over the years in all sports have been ranked high and haven't played well and been ranked low and played really well. None of that means anything," Kiffin says about rankings.
What he also added is that rankings do matter, only in the final week. The Rebels have consistently been a Top 5 team for three weeks, and a win on Saturday will make sure they stay there.
