Ole Miss is receiving Washington State's best shot today.
The Rebels, who shot up to the No. 4 ranking after beating LSU in the Magnolia Bowl two weeks ago, are in a fight with the Cougars. Ole Miss trailed 14-10 for much of the third quarter after Kirby Vorhees put Wazzu back in the lead with a long touchdown catch-and-run.
Kirby Vorhees, goodbye. 46 yards to the house and WSU retakes the lead. It's the Cougs' first TD by a RB all season.

The Vorhees name couldn't be more appropriate because it seems like a nightmare for Ole Miss fans right now.
Trinidad Chambliss answers back
Overall, the offense has been putting up numbers. Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss has been efficient in the pass game, going 18-of-25 for 176 yards with a touchdown pass to Dae'Quan Wright. And running back Kewan Lacy has 113 yards on 18 carries.
It was Chambliss' legs that put Ole Miss back ahead 17-14 at the end of third quarter. Facing a third-and-10, the quarterback scrambled for a 17-yard score. But Chambliss has lost a fumble and Washington State has hung around to keep the game close and keep fans on edge.
Someone needs to tell Ole Miss they play today

Ole Miss is 3-0 in the SEC and the win over LSU, along with the buzz surrounding Chambliss, has helped the Rebels shoot up the rankings and into a legitimate position to make the 12-team playoffs, but today's performance has some fans wondering if the squad was a little overrated.
Going into Saturday's game, Lane Kiffin joked that it was a "cross-country classic" between the first-place team in the SEC and the first-place team in the PAC-12. But the Rebels coach also showed the Cougars program plenty of respect.
"“(Washington State has) played a lot better in the last game and presents a lot of challenges. So they’re really well-coached. Really sound in what they do. Their quarterbacks has started playing a lot better than guys were early in the year. So it’s a big challenge for us and one that we’re excited about.”"Lane Kiffin
It turns out that respect was well deserved, as Washington State is giving Ole Miss everything they can handle and more.
This looks like a team that saw the #4 ranking and decided to sleepwalk today
