The College Football Playoff push is finally here. Starting Nov. 4, the college football season will feel a lot more competitive with the release of the first round of the CFP weekly rankings.
Riding high on the peak of the Lane Kiffin era, the Ole Miss Rebels fanbase in particular will have a much higher anticipation than in the previous few seasons.
Even though Georgia shattered their undefeated streak, it is the only loss they have recorded so far this season. The 8-1 Rebels stayed strong in their No. 7 ranking from the previous week as well, making them an almost sure-shot Top 10 team in the CFP rankings this week.
Besides Ole Miss, the four undefeated teams: Ohio State, Indiana, Texas A&M, and BYU, and the fellow one-loss teams: Alabama, Georgia, and Oregon will also be expecting a seat at the table.

12-team CFP Ranking prediction
The latest 12-team format automatically entitles the top five conference champions a bid, and the remaining seven highest-ranked teams will fill out the rest of the rankings at-large.
We predict Ole Miss to be the No. 7 team with an at-large bid, following Ohio State at No. 1, Texas A&M at No. 2, Texas Tech Raiders at No. 3, Georgia Tech at No. 4, and Indiana and Alabama at No. 5 and 6.
The only thing left to see is whether Ole Miss can match some of the best SEC heavyweights like Texas A&M and Alabama to have a shot at the SEC Championship this season.
