Cotie McMahon Draft Watch
McMahon is one of the few invited, meaning she will be headed to New York this evening to hear her name called out in the opening minutes. The Ole Miss forward is already a hot name on the WNBA draft board, and is largely projected to go Top 10.
McMahon's astronomical stats in a historic season at Ole Miss demand nothing less. McMahon, finishing her season with the fourth‑highest single‑season total in program history (703) was a statement in itself. Her 34 double‑digit scoring games, setting a new program record, were another one for the books.
It won't be shocking to see McMahon go off the board among the Top 5 either, but for now, she is slated as a concencus Top 10 pick.
The Washington Mystics and Indiana Fever will be the two teams to be on the McMahon watchlist.
