Ole Miss has been sweating on the fitness of its star wide receiver, Tre Harris, this past week. He is still struggling with a lower-body injury. After missing the Oklahoma game, Lane Kiffin was hopeful he would feature.

News has been released that Tre Harris will be a game-time decision for a second consecutive week after being questionable on the latest injury report on Friday evening.

Tre Harris to be limited if he does feature for Ole Miss

Pete Thamel reported that if Tre Harris does manage to get through pre-game workouts and feels good to go, he will be limited for the Rebels against Arkansas.

The leading receiver for Ole Miss missed the last game against Oklahoma, suffering an undisclosed injury against LSU in Week 7. Even after having a bye week to recover, he was unable to make the field against the Sooners but was seen in uniform on the sideline.

Despite missing the game, Harris is still second in the nation in receiving yards with 987, eight behind San Jose State wide receiver Nick Nash. He has four 100-yard receiving games and a 225 receiving-yard game against Georgia Southern.

Harris has been vital to the Ole Miss offense since his transfer from Louisiana Tech in 2023. After the 2023 season, he could have headed to the NFL, but he chose to return to Oxford for one more season. It looks like a good decision, as his performances this season have boosted his draft stock.
