Ole Miss football head coach Lane Kiffin is hitting the trail following the massive recruiting visit this Saturday, and his latest stop is Brentwood Academy, TN.
The Vaught-Hemingway welcomed some of the hottest recruits in the market, where they saw the Rebels win a thrilling 24-19 win over LSU. But there was one WR in particular that caught Kiffin's attention: Brentwood Academy junior WR Kesean Bowman.
Earlier committed to Oregon, the 5-star WR is Kiffin's top target, evident from Kiffin's additional effort to have another chat with Bowman within just six days of the WR's visit to Oxford.
The 6'1, 175-pound prospect "loved everything" about Ole Miss during his visit to Oxford, per Tom Loy of 247 Sports.
Ranked the No. 5 receiver in the 2027 class and No. 32 player nationally overall, Bowman has offers lined up from LSU Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, Michigan Wolverines, and Texas Longhorns, among others.
"Kiffin was at BA for about 15 minutes with Ole Miss assistants Jake Schoonover and Wes Neighbors III, Brentwood Academy coach Paul Wade said.
"Kiffin saw Bowman again during a brief visit to Brentwood Academy on Oct. 2 before heading off to an alumni event in downtown Nashville," Tyler Palmateer of The Tennessean writes.

"They spoke with Bowman and a handful of other juniors, including receiver Lex Baskin, lineman Tyi’Quayviuos Duncan, lineman Xavier Yelder, and quarterback Crews Jenkins."
BA head coach Wade further explained how a visit gives Kiffin a better understanding of the recruits than during a game day.
"He got there and just hung out for a second. Ventured off inside, came back out and talked to a few of the kids and watched special teams and our defensive walk-through,” said Wade.
“The kids have been down there on gameday, but (Kiffin's) not worried about the kids (at that time), he’s worried about the game plan. Here, it’s a little more relaxed setting, he could eyeball them, size them up, and stand next to them," Wade added.
We'll see whether Kiffin's recruiting magic and appeal can be stronger than all other schools to lure Bowman and a few other recruits to the Grove.
