Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin perfectly knows how to kill two birds with one stone, and he did so the classic Kiffin way in his halftime interview during Ole Miss vs. Citadel.

Kiffin casually inserted a sharp dig about their future in-state Egg Bowl rivals, Miss State, and also poked Kirby Smart when referencing the Georgia-Miss State game that was also happening.

"Excited Georgia is boat racing Mississippi State," Kiffin said to John Darnell on Ole Miss Network during halftime vs. Citadel, when asked about his thoughts on how Ole Miss's performance was today.

The banter between Kiffin and Smart has been going on since the Rebels' head coach threw a sharp one at Smart when orchestrating the perfect pre-game drama ahead of Ole Miss-Georgia earlier this season.

Ever since, the two have been exchanging jabs, and this one was another tongue-in-cheek innocent provocation from Kiffin's end.

That said, Kiffin's prediction did prove true about Georgia dominating Miss State; the Bulldogs put up a tough game against the other Bulldogs, but ultimately held them off at 41-21.

Georgia dominated Miss State in the first three quarters, ending the game with a 20-point lead over them.

"Oh, our game? We're playing well," he later added, almost as an afterthought.

As far as Kiffin's squad goes, they are halfway through boat racing Citadel with a clean 14-0 lead into the halftime.

We'll see whether Smart has any witty reply to get back at Kiffin, or whether it is a genuine acknowledgement in his post-game conference.
