Ole Miss (and Eagles) fans tired of hearing Howie Roseman's same old song on A.J. Brown questions

About time Roseman makes a call.

Howie Roseman is playing a game of chicken with A.J,. Brown's entire future at stake, and he isn't even blinking.

Ole Miss fans just got an NFL reunion of their dreams in Elijah Moore joining Brown in the Eagles WR room, teleporting them back straight to Matt Luke's Nasty Wide Outs' (N.W.O.) room.

Ole Miss fans are rooting to see Moore and Brown play together. The chances looked slim earlier as A.J. Brown trade talks were overtaking the entire Philadelphia, but lately Roseman's words are feeling too much bark and little bite.

Howie Roseman stuck on a broken A.J. Brown record

Most recently in his press conference for the annual league meetings in Phoenix, Roseman played the same old song of "Brown's an Eagle" when understandably impatient fans wanted an update.

“I understand that there’s interest in the A.J. Brown story. I, unfortunately, don’t have a home under a rock,” he told reporters Sunday.

“But my answer to any question on A.J. Brown is A.J. Brown is a member of the Eagles. From my perspective, anything you ask me about A.J. Brown, I’m going to go right back to that answer. But I understand the interest. I put on TV and I see that there’s interest, but my answer is A.J. Brown is a member of the Philadelphia Eagles.”

But the ones who know the ball knows "he's an Eagle" is usually the preface to a goodbye. Roseman's rethoric and the Eagles salary cap reality being miles away is another reason to believe that.

That said, both Eagles fans and Ole Miss fans are waiting on an outcome; Ole Miss because they want to see their nostalgic wideout duo play together, and Eagles, well, because they're Eagles fans.

It can only be so long before everyone from fans and NFL alike start getting frustrated of being left on a cliffhanger with every single update.

Ole Miss, though, will be hoping for one where Moore can play another season with his 'big brotherly' mentor.
