Following their home start, the Rebels welcome Arkansas State, Jackson State, Missouri State, and Southeast Missouri State for a string of non-conference matchups.
The team then heads to Houston’s Daikin Park—the home of the Astros—to compete in the prestigious Astros Foundation College Classic. There, Ole Miss will face Baylor, Ohio State, and Coastal Carolina, gaining vital experience against top programs before diving into conference play.
After returning to Oxford for midweek games against Memphis and North Alabama, the Rebels host Evansville for their final non-conference weekend at Swayze Field.
The highly anticipated SEC schedule begins with a marquee road series in Austin against Texas from March 13-15, marking the first series between these programs as conference foes following recent SEC realignment. The Rebels did play Texas as a non conference game in the Shriners Showcase to kick off the 2025 season.
The following weekends, Ole Miss hosts Kentucky (March 20-22) and archrival Mississippi State (March 27-29). Other pivotal conference matchups include home series against LSU (April 10-12) and road trips to Florida (April 2-4) and Texas A&M (May 8-10), making for a rigorous path toward postseason contention.
The Rebels will also travel to Knoxville to take on the Volunteers in what has developed into a nice rivalry. Additionally, the Rebels will have a road series in Fayetteville to being May. The SEC Tournament is slated for May 19-24 at Hoover Met, where the Rebels hope to cement their standing.
It is an incredibly daunting schedule, but that is true for every team in the SEC. I do think that the Rebels have drawn a tough string of road series, which will put an increased emphasis on winning home series.
The Rebels bring back a talented roster and added some considerable talent through the transfer portal. They will attempt to build upon the resurgent 2-25 season. Just last week, the program announced two public fall ball games, which will allow fans the opportunity to see the new squad in action.
