Ole Miss has targeted two top wide receivers from the transfer portal, one of whom is the top-rated player in the portal. Georgia Tech transfer Eric Singleton Jr. and Oklahoma transfer Nic Anderson have the Rebels as a team of interest.

Eric Singleton Jr to visit Ole Miss this week

Pete Nakos of On3 reported that Eric Singleton Jr. would visit Georgia, Auburn, and Ole Miss this week. The Georgia Tech transfer is currently ranked the No.1 player in the portal per On3.

The Georgia native was a three-star prospect from the 2023 recruiting class, committing to the Yellow Jackets over Auburn, Michigan State, and other schools. In his two seasons in Atlanta, Singleton had 104 receptions for 1,468 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. He also added 140 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Ole Miss will face a battle with Georgia and Auburn to bring in Eric Singleton Jr., but its record of sending wide receivers to the NFL will help.

Nic Anderson looking at Ole Miss, LSU, and Florida

Regarding Oklahoma transfer Nic Anderson, 247Sports reports that he is considering staying in the SEC and focusing on three schools. Ole Miss, LSU, and Florida are the three, all of which have had success with wide receivers in the past.

Anderson was a four-star recruit from the 2022 class. He redshirted his first season and appeared in just three games. In 2023, he had his breakout season with the Sooners, with 38 receptions for 798 receiving yards and ten touchdowns.

Unfortunately, injuries prevented him from following that up in 2024, and he played just a handful of snaps in a frustrating season.

247Sports has Anderson ranked as the No. 2 WR behind Dane Key of Kentucky. Lane Kiffin hopes to bring at least one of these top wide receivers.
