The All-SEC Coaches football teams were announced earlier today, with Ole Miss having the second-most players make all three teams. The Rebels had nine players receive honors, with Georgia the only team with more, with 13.

Four Ole Miss players made the first team and tied for the most selections in the first round. Jaxson Dart, Walter Nolen, Princely Umanmielen, and Trey Amos gained top honors.

Defense dominates All-SEC teams for Ole Miss

Seven defensive players made All-SEC teams from the Ole Miss roster and three First-Team All-SEC honors. Walter Nolen, Princely Umanmieln, and Trey Amos, all first-team All-SEC players, transferred to the Rebels before the 2024 season.

Jaxson Dart (first-team) and Tre Harris (third-team) were the only offensive players to make All-SEC teams. Harris likely would have been a first-team player if he hadn't missed five games through injury; he still had a fantastic 1,000 receiving-yard season.

Linebacker Chris Paul Jr., another transfer this offseason, made the second team. Ole Miss fans hope Paul Jr. will stay for one more season but could also declare for the NFL draft.

Ole Miss players dominated the third-team defensive line, with Jared Ivey, Suntarine Perkins, and JJ Pegues all receiving honors.
