Tennessee and Ohio State might try to make as many calls to David Gabriel Georges, but they still won't have the edge Ole Miss football has in the elite 5-star RB David Gabriel Georges recruiting battle.
Baylor QB Keegan Croucher committed to Ole Miss last season and has taken every chance to prove his commitment since. Interestingly, Croucher is fully invested in the Rebels' recruiting machine and is putting in the work to show his leadership from day one.
Now for the best part: Gabriel Georges and Croucher are both teammates at Baylor. Circling back to where we started, Tennessee, Ohio State, and Georgia can all reach into their bags of tricks but they still can't match the locker-room edge Ole Miss gets with Croucher.
Ole Miss's X-factor
Croucher was at the Manning Center this weekend, and he made it a point to talk about Gabriel George.
“I think after the OV season you’ll see a lot of wide receivers commit. I have a pretty good feeling about that. O-linemen too," he said, setting up the stage for his truth bomb.
“Still working on getting David Gabriel Georges here too," Croucher added.
And not just Gabriel Georges, Croucher rattled off the receivers he's pushing for. “Cade Cooper, Eli Pearl, Alvin Mosley, Brylan Odour, Easton Royal, Tae Walden.” Then he moved to the offensive linemen: “Bryson Hurt, Antonio Berry, Caden Moss. Some others too.”
Ole Miss having Croucher on their side should definitely concern all other rivals. For now, Gabriel Georges has announced he'll be making his decision post visits to all four schools in June.
