Lane Kiffin and his squad entered the Vaught-Hemingway today with equanimity and maintained that poise to leave Citadel scrambling for a single score.
The Ole Miss Rebels were the heavy odds-on favorites entering their Week 11 matchup against a non-conference FCS opponent.
With a carefully schemed offensive attack and an equally good defense making Citadel's offense struggle, the Rebels managed a stunning 49-0 blowout against Citadel.
Now at 9-1, offensive star players Trinidad Chambliss and Kewan Lacy had a big day with massive stats, as expected.

Chambliss raked up another 300+passing yards day with 333 yards through the air on 29-for-33 passing with three touchdowns and zero interceptions.
Among the 10 different pass-catchers he connected with, some of Chambliss' best passes of the night were with Harrison Wallace III, who made eight receptions for 87 yards.
RB Kewan Lacy also continued his streak of consistently mind-blowing red zone attack through the weeks with three touchdowns against Citadel.
His stunning performance Saturday night tied with former Rebels' QB Quinshon Judkins' single-season record for rushing touchdowns.
Besides the record, Lacy finished his day with 49 yards on 11 carries with three scores to lead the Rebels to an early lead.
Chambliss, Lacy, and the rest of Ole Miss's offense were obviously formidable, but this week, the Rebels' defense put up an equally good show.
TJ Dottery and Andrew Maddox led the way with seven tackles apiece, while the defense as a whole logged double-digit tackles for loss.
More impressively, they hardly let their opponents move the ball at all, as Citadel struggled to put up anything on the scoreboard and finished the night with just
107 yards of total offense with 23 yards coming through the air and 84 rushing yards.
And it goes without saying that the massive win will reflect well in the upcoming week's 2025 College Football Playoff's projected bracket.
The Rebels still have two more games: next week against Florida, followed by a bye, after which they face their in-state rival Miss State in the Egg Bowl.
