Trinidad Chamblissjust capped a season that every QB in the portal would kill for.

And after much guesswork, the Ferris State transfer finally revealed where he learned his techniques.

Or, better put, who he looked upto to build a talent so elite.

"Yeah, a lot of people say I play like Kyler Murray and then also Baker Mayfield," Chambliss said to For the Win's Cory Woodroof.

The Mayfield and Murray styles are perfect nail on the head when describing Chambliss' cannon for an arm and a fiery personality as a play-caller.

But that was just the two he plays the most like.

"I like to watch how Patrick Mahomes works and things he does and the off-balance throws that he makes. Also, just Lamar Jackson's game. I feel like he can, I guess, do anything on the field, and he'll do whatever it takes to win, and that's something that I look up to. So, probably those guys as well," he continued, describing who he looks up to.

"Basically all the NFL great quarterbacks. There’s so many. Try to get every every little piece from them, but a lot of people say that I play like Kyler Murray.”

Chambliss could be headed right to the NFL

That said, there is a solid chance that fans might get to see Chambliss playing against the exact QBs he looks upto this year itself.

If the verdict on his lawsuit goes sideways, Chambliss could officially be on the clock for the 2026 Draft.

No waivers means no addiitonal year of eligibility for the QB.

In such a situation, the questions will then turn to which team drafts the standout Rebels QB.

Until the verdict comes and the draft order is finalized, it is anyone's guess.
