Saturday was by far the best college football days the Grove saw in a long, long time.
Ole Miss drubbed Tulane in a 41-10 rematch and surged to another rematch with the only team that defeated them in the regular season, the Georgia Bulldogs.
"Well really nothing right now," a beaming Golding said on the sidelines post-game when asked about what he thinks about facing Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.
“You play Georgia in the Sugar Bowl. What excited you about getting that rematch?”

What made the Rebels win feel more personal to every college football fan was the way they were unaffected from the whole Lane Kiffin drama.
QB Trinidad Chambliss led the offensively charged Rebs, completing 23-of-29 passes for 282 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 36 yards and two more srushing touchdowns.
Since defense was already Golding's forte, Ole Miss dominated Tulane in that department, too.
The first Tulane drive? Interception by Ole Miss. The very next Ole Miss drive? 4 plays for 60 yards and a touchdown. It was watching both sides work perfectly in sync to finish the game as soon as it started.
Ole Miss football sets CFP record
Ole Miss set the tone from the very first second the clock started, as RB Kewan Lacy blitzed through the Vaught-Hemingway field to score a long 20-yard touchdown in the first three plays for 75 yards.

This play set the College Football Playoff record for the fastest score in CFP history, lighting up the scoreboard in just 59 seconds.
“I was just excited for them to put everything behind them, get back out on the grass, and do what they love to do,” Golding told the TNT broadcast crew on the sidelines post-win.
“They created a great opportunity for themselves and came out and responded how I thought they would.”
This officially marks the beginning of the Pete Golding era in Oxford, and the next time we will see it in action would be in a revenge game against Georgia next Saturday.
