March Madness is officially on and everyone in Oxford is keeping their fingers crossed to see the Ole Miss women's basketball team dancing in the Big Dance.

To start things off, the No. 5 Rebels will take on the No. 12 Gonzaga Bulldogs to tip off their NCAA Tournament.

With the Rebels dancing for the fifth time straight and a Sweet 16 appearance last season, head coach Yolett McPhee-McCuin would be looking forward to making a deeper run this time, starting with the Zags.

Coach Yo seems to have nailed the rotation in the SEC Tournament days, and more importantly, learned the lessons from their rough 4-game skid towards the end of the season.

With star players like Cotie McMahon, Christeen Iwuala, Tiana Thompson, and Latasha Lattimmore hardly disappointing the team, things are looking incredibly hopeful for Coach Yo's squad.

The cherry on top is Sira Thienou's return, one of the most elite guards in the SEC, right at the moment her team needs her the most.

The Zags come in as the NCAA Tournament as the WCC champion. In nonconference play, the Bulldogs went 0-3 against Power Four teams.

Now, it all comes down to how well they execute it all on the big stage.
