It looks like the drama is only getting started for the Ole Miss Rebels after Lane Kiffin finally announced that he's leaving Oxford and he's off to Baton Rouge. Kiffin delayed his announcement for what felt like forever, but it has been confirmed that he's headed to a different SEC squad.

Apparently, he didn't even deliver the message to his players face to face. That's what Ole Miss wideout Caleb Odom has claimed. Shortly after the Kiffin news dropped, the speedster called him out on social media in a post that has since been deleted. However, the screenshot is now going a bit viral:

As you can see in that post above, Odom said, "Couldn't even come face to face with your players and tell them yourself' with the thumbs down emoji. Obviously, this isn't sitting well with a lot of people, as it's now looking like Kiffin has ruined his legacy with the Rebels.

What makes this all worse is that Ole Miss is still going to be in the College Football Playoff, but they're now going to be pushing for a title without its head coach. Instead, Pete Golding has taken over as the new HC and not just on an interim level.

Golding is loved by the guys inside of the locker room, but this is not how anyone expected this historic season to end. There are still games to be played and the Rebels are going to be hungry to make noise once the CFP gets going.

As for Kiffin, he has infuriated a lot of people all over Mississippi and him throwing Keith Carter under the bus in his statement didn't help anything. You've got to figure that other Ole Miss playmakers are equally upset with Kiffin. He could not have handled his departure from the program any worse. All of this isn't fair to the players either.
